One of the biggest challenges faced by parents of children of all ages is keeping the kids happy and busy while traveling in the car or on an airplane. This is especially true on long haul flights or intercontinental flights. The challenges faced by parents of infants and toddlers can be even greater than those faced by parents of older children. Luckily, however, there are a number of strategies parents can use to make sure traveling with their baby is a joy and not a source of stress.

Toys and games are some of the best ways to keep babies and toddlers quiet and entertained while on the road. There are a great many toys, books and games which are designed just for traveling situations. These travel items may include things like fun and colorful pop up story books that parents can read to their babies on the plane, fun games the infant can play by his or herself, and even fun computer games the baby can enjoy.
